Stranded Loose Tube fiber ribbon cable with steel tape GYDTA
GYDTA. The ribbon 4, 6, 8, 12 fibers are posititioned in a loosetube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling plastic. The tubes are filed with a water-resistant filling compound. A steek wire, sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locates in the center of core as a metallic strength member. Tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the strength memebr into a compact and circular cable core. An aluminum polyethylene laminate (APL) is applied around the cable core, which is fillled with the filling compound to protect it from water ingrees. Then, the cable is completed with a PE sheath. | ![]() |

Characteristics:
1.Good mechanical performance,temperature properties;
2.High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant;
3.Special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber;
4.Special designed compact structure is good at preventing loose tubes from shrinking;
5.PE sheath protects cable from ultraviolet radiation;
6.The following measures are taken to ensure the cable watertight;
a.Steel wire used as the central strength member;
b.Loose tube filling compound;
c.100% cable core filling;
d.APL moisture barrier.

Note:1.suffix Xn denotes fiber type and see details in FOCC's cable coding illustration
2.Xn denates fiber ribbons type, e.g.4F denotes 4 fibers ribbons
3.The 4 fiber ribbon or 6 fiber ribbon is applied in the cable with fiber count under 300 with the 12 fiber ribbon is applied in the cable with fiebr count over 300.
Fiber coloure Identification of loose tube with FOCC
the fibers in cables can be identified by standard colour identification in compliance with YD/T901-2001 Standard.
Standard colour Identification
Note: A. when the fiber count of one loose tube is less than 12, the fibers are identified form the NO.1 colour on a stream.
B.in standard colour identification, the NO.6 white colour could be replaced by nature colour,which called standard colour identification W.
The coloure Identification of loose tubes in cable
the loose rubes in cable can be identified by pan-chromatograph
