FOCC Standed loose tube cable with aluminum tape(GYTS)
The Fiber, either of single - or multi-mode type, are positioned in a loose tube made of a high modulus plastic. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. A Steel wire sometimes sheathed with polyethylene (PE) for cable with high fiber count, locats in the center of core as a metallic strength member.tubes(and fillers)are standed around the strength member into a compact and circular cable core. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL)is applied around the cable core, which is filled with the filling compound to protect it from water-ingress.Then, the cable is completed with a PE sheath.
1.Accurate fiber excess length ensures good mechanical and temperature performance
2.High strength loose tube that is hydrolysis resistant and special tube filling compound ensure a critical protection of fiber
3.Crush resistance and flexibility
4.PE sheath with good properties of resistance to ultraviolet radiation-the following measures are taken to ensure the cable watertight:
- steel wire used as the central strength member
-Loose tube filling compound
-100% cable core filling
-PSP enhancing moisture-proof

Note:1.suffix Xn denotes fiber type and see details in FOCC's cable coding illustration
2.the colour arrangement of fiber and tube is specified in the colour identification table.
Fiber coloure Identification of loose tube with FOCC
the fibers in cables can be identified by standard colour identification in compliance with YD/T901-2001 Standard.
Standard colour Identification
Note: A. when the fiber count of one loose tube is less than 12, the fibers are identified form the NO.1 colour on a stream.
B.in standard colour identification, the NO.6 white colour could be replaced by nature colour, which called standard colour identification W.
The coloure Identification of loose tubes in cable
the loose rubes in cable can be identified by pan-chromatograph
Long distance and local area network (LAN) communication.
Aerial & conduit / duct application.
