All Dielectric Self-support Aerial Cable ADSS
![]() | ADSS cable is loose tube stranded. Fibers, 250μm, are positioned into a loose tube made of high modulus plastics. The tubes are filled with a water-resistant filling compound. The tubes (and fillers) are stranded around a FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) as a non-metallic central strength member into a compact and circular cable core. After the cable core is filled with filling compound. it is covered with thin PE inner sheath. After stranded layer of aramid yarns are applied over the inner sheath as strength member, the cable is completed with PE or AT (anti-tracking) outer sheath. |

Applicantion
the actual status of overhead power lines in taken into full consideration when ADSS cable is being designed. for overhead power lines under 110KV,PE outer sheath is applied. for power lines equal to or over 110KV,AT outer sheath is applied .the delicate design of Aramid quantity and stranding process can satisfy the demand on various spans.
Characteristics
Can be installed without shutting of the power
Excellent AT performance. The maximum inductive at the operating point of AT sheath can reach 25KV
Light weight and small diameter reducing the loac caused by ice and wind, and the load on the tower and bachprops
large span lengths and the largest span is over 1000m ,
accurate control on aramid application greatly improving the cable strength
Accurate fiber excess length and stranding pitch to ensure the good performance of tensile strength and temperature
the design life span is over 30 years
Cable Code
Cable applicable climate conditions can be divided into four categories
Climate type | Wind spead | Ice | Extra load |
A | 25 | 0 | 0.7 |
B | 35 | 0 | 0.7 |
C | 10 | 5 | 2.5 |
D | 10 | 10 | 4.4 |
Note: only a part of ADSS cables are listaed in the cable.ADSS cables with other spans can be inquired from FOCC directly.
Specificantion in the table are got on condition that there in no height difference and the instanllation sag is1%
Fiber count is 2 to 60, the identificantion of fibers complies with the national standard.
Fibers, either single-mode of multimode, can be used in the cable on request.
Specially designed cable structure is available on request
FOCC reserves the right to revise the specificantions in the cable.

Class A Core Fiber:
*Wonderful Flexiblity
**Speedy and Stable
***Long transmission Distance
Non-metallic strength member FRP:
*Anti-corrosion ,high-level strength
**Central strength member enhances
the compressive property of cable and
protects fiber

Outer sheath :
*All-new PE materials
**Smooth surface
***Anti-corrosion
****Environmental Friendly
Sufficient Quantity:
*Sufficient quantity is our promise .
**Meter measurement is printed clearly very roll.

Fiber coloure Identification of loose tube with FOCC
the fibers in cables can be identified by standard colour identification in compliance with YD/T901-2001 Standard.
Standard colour Identification
Note: A. when the fiber count of one loose tube is less than 12, the fibers are identified form the NO.1 colour on a stream.
B.in standard colour identification, the NO.6 white colour could be replaced by nature colour, which called standard colour identification W.
The coloure Identification of loose tubes in cable
the loose rubes in cable can be identified by pan-chromatograph
