High Quality and Cost-Effective 9/125μm Single Mode Bend Insensitive Fiber Optic Cable
These high speed single-mode 9/125µm duplex fiber optic patch cables are terminated with SC/APC fiber optic connectors on both ends (SC/APC-SC/APC). Referred to as Subscriber Connectors, Square Connectors or Standard Connectors, these push-pull connectors are the most common choice for FTTH (fiber to the home) applications in use for Datacom and Telcom; most GBIC modules also require this connector type.
Polish Type Abbreviations:
Note: The polish type affects the amount of back reflection, also known as reflectance.
PC - Physical Contact. Polished to create a slight dome at the end of the ferrule that helps to maximize the signal being transmitted.
UPC - Ultra Physical Contact. More extensive polishing than the PC type, a greater dome shape is created that further help to maximize the signal being transmitted.
APC - Angled Physical Contact. Polished at an angle rather than a dome shape. This is the most efficient polish type.
- typical insertion loss: 0.2 dB
- return loss > 65 dB
- fiber jacket 1.8mm, yellow color, zipcord style
- operating temperature: -40 to +75 Celsius degrees
- each cable assembly is manually tested and verified
- each cable assembly is individually sealed and labeled
- label mentions measured loss on patch cord
Industry Standard Fiber Optic Cable
The fiber optic cable has industry standard flammability rating PVC jacket and duplex fiber connector which meets EIA/TIA 604-2 for high speed cabling networks.
